Problem

Local Union 853 - Sprinkler Fitters of Ontario called on Diversi-Tech to provide ventilation for their new Sprinkler and Fire Protection Trade Centre and Training Facility.

The Solution

Two guidelines were presented for consideration before unit selection was made. The school did not want to exhaust costly heated and conditioned air from the building and, they wanted students to participate as little as possible in the operation of the system.

Diversi-Tech installed 9 Mini-Downdraft tables with special side trays. These tables offer a "Hands Free Capture at Source" of smoke and dust and captures the pollutants before it reaches the users breathing zone. Dirty air is then sent through a filter and remains in the building.
