Metal Mesh Prefilter for DD-MINI

Metal mesh prefilters, on the DD-MINI, offer critical spark arrestance protection when welding, grinding, or any working application that can produce sparks.

The DD-MINI can be fitted with up to two metal mesh prefilters. One is installed horizontally, just below the steel grate. The uniform mesh material restricts flow just enough to increase face velocity (FPM) by up to 20%.

An optional 2nd stage metal mesh can be installed vertically in the filter compartment, adding an extra layer of spark protection. The DD-MINI filter compartment allows a total of 4-inches of filter media, often featuring one metal mesh prefilter, and a 2″ paper pleat filter.
